I’ve updated the Steam GCF file format page to reflect the changes from the 21st July Steam update.
Note also that previous version of GCFScape no longer work after the changes and you should update your copy to version 1.1.2.

Well that was a raging success.
Google pays out on their ads once a month only when your balance is $100 US or more. At the slow rate I was accumulating income from the ads, I would of got payed maybe once every 3 months.
Problem is, payment is by US check and at the moment they cant do it any other way. My bank charges $150 US to clear a US check. So its not hard to see that running Google ads on my site would actually cost me MORE than not having them.
So much for that plan.

I’ve added some downloads on the British/Canadian Airborne player model page to some high-quality replacement weapon models made by my friend Marzy.
They feature proper sleeves for the airbore players, new sounds, animations and in many case much hight quality models and textures.

A few people have asked me when the next version of HLMV is going to be out. so I’m going to have to go with “soon” (© Tim Holt).
As most people know I had a hard disk crash and I lost the source to just about all my projects so I’ve had to re-write the changes I made to the original HLMV all over again.
So far its not gone to bad and I *think* its back to where it was and I’ve put a few more things in such as playing back event sounds, export of UV Maps as BMPs, PS2 Half-Life model support, etc.
However, HLMV is really getting to the limit of what its meant to be and my time would be better spent on other projects so probably v1.2 will be the last version I make for Half-Life 1.

Yeah I gave in to the mighty buck and put ads on my site - bite me :op
Basically, I gotta eat and 9 donations out of 21000 downloads doesnt buy a lot of noodles. I appreciate some of you can’t donate because you don’t have the means to so heres your chance - simply click on the ads and it earns me a little something.
